Content Submission & License Agreements

Each time a piece of art is uploaded, the artist needs to agree to the terms of the Content Submissions Agreement (CSA) and similarly, each time an user buys a license to art or commissions custom art, the user agrees to a Content License Agreement (CLA). Voottoo is a platform for the licensing and commissioning of copyrighted material between the primary parties. The CSA requires artists to only post art to which they own copyright and are not giving up any copyright ownership by uploading, even if royalty free licenses are sold for their use. With regards to commissions, the CSA states that copyrights will belong to the commissioner, but that copyrighted content (characters, etc) used in the creation of commissions will continue to be owned by the original copyright owner. The CSA gives Voottoo limited permission to use any uploaded image for marketing purposes and for working with partners to create products such as skins.
